Who we are

What we collect and why

• Newsletter email address. If you subscribe, we store your email address so we can send you the updates you asked for. The lawful basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
• Site analytics. We measure how the site is used so we can improve it. Our own analytics is first-party and does not use cookies or store your IP address. If you accept analytics cookies, we also use Google Analytics. See our cookie policy.
• Server logs. Like most websites, our servers keep short-lived technical logs to keep the service secure and reliable. The lawful basis is our legitimate interest in running a safe service.

How long we keep it

We keep your newsletter email until you unsubscribe or ask us to remove it. Analytics data is kept in aggregate and is not tied to you. Technical logs are kept only as long as needed for security.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your data. We use trusted service providers to run the site and send email on our behalf, and they may process data only on our instructions. Where Google Analytics is enabled with your consent, data is processed by Google.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict the personal data we hold about you, to object to processing, and to data portability. You can unsubscribe from emails at any time using the link in any email or by contacting us. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
