Leadership
William Fletcher MBE
Chief Executive, New Reg Limited
William Fletcher is chief executive of New Reg Limited, the company behind Car.co.uk, Trader.co.uk and Garage.co.uk. He joined as chief executive in December 2022, having spent seven years at Recycling Lives in Preston, where he rose from managing director to chief executive and the business earned three Queen’s Awards for Enterprise. He was appointed MBE in 2023 for services to disadvantaged communities, and in 2026 he led Car.co.uk to a King’s Award for Enterprise. Under his leadership the group was named in the Sunday Times 100 list of the fastest growing private companies in Britain in 2024.
Anthony Sharkey
Chief Operating Officer, New Reg Limited
Anthony Sharkey is Chief Operating Officer of New Reg Limited, leading day to day operations across Car.co.uk, Trader.co.uk and Garage.co.uk. His background spans logistics, vehicle recycling and digital transformation, and he helped build the customer-first model behind instant valuations and rapid nationwide collection. He holds a BSc in Business and Management and previously supported Recycling Lives through national expansion and a private equity exit.
Tim Elleray
Strategic Advisor
Tim advises on strategy and commercial direction across the New Reg group.
Liam Derbyshire
Head of Search, Marketing and Web (Group)
Liam leads search and marketing across the New Reg group and works within the cross group development team.
Jonathan Taylor
Software Engineer, NewReg.co.uk
Jonathan is the engineering lead on NewReg.co.uk and brings development experience to projects across the group.
Rebecca Wilson
Administration Director
Rebecca oversees senior administrative coordination across the New Reg group.
