UK drivers face average petrol prices of 161.7p and diesel at 182.0p per litre today.
The average price of unleaded petrol in the UK has risen to 161.7p per litre, with premium E5 unleaded fuel costing about 179.0p. Diesel is even more expensive, averaging 182.0p per litre, which is approximately 20.3p more than the standard unleaded petrol.
For drivers, this increase in fuel prices means higher monthly expenses, especially for those who rely on vehicles for daily commuting or long journeys. The current average cost equates to about £7.35 per gallon for E10 petrol and £8.27 per gallon for diesel, making refuelling a significant factor in the overall cost of car ownership.
