UK fuel price geography: 24.7p a litre between districts

Official data across 546 postcode districts shows a 24.7p a litre spread in average unleaded, from BT15 to CA10.
The geographic dispersion of UK pump prices remains wide. Measured across the 546 postcode districts with at least 5 forecourts reporting, average unleaded runs from 151.9p in BT15 to 176.6p in CA10, a spread of 24.7p per litre.
Cheapest districts today: BT15 (151.9p), BT51 (152.3p), BT70 (152.3p), BT19 (152.4p), BT49 (152.6p). Most expensive: CA10 (176.6p), CV35 (173.6p), SO16 (173.4p), RG17 (173.3p), ML7 (173.3p). Note that the cheapest end of the table is dominated by Northern Ireland (BT) districts, where pump prices run consistently below the Great Britain average, so part of this spread is a difference between nations rather than between neighbouring towns.
