UK fuel price geography: 24.8p a litre between districts

Official data across 545 postcode districts shows a 24.8p a litre spread in average unleaded, from BT46 to CA10.
The geographic dispersion of UK pump prices remains wide. Measured across the 545 postcode districts with at least 5 forecourts reporting, average unleaded runs from £7.19/gal (158.1p) in BT46 to £8.31/gal (182.9p) in CA10, a spread of £1.13 a gallon (24.8p a litre).
Cheapest districts today: BT46 at £7.19/gal (158.1p), BT93 at £7.27/gal (159.9p), BT19 at £7.30/gal (160.6p), WF12 at £7.32/gal (161.1p), BT15 at £7.35/gal (161.6p). Most expensive: CA10 at £8.31/gal (182.9p), WA16 at £8.26/gal (181.6p), NN4 at £8.23/gal (181.0p), RG17 at £8.21/gal (180.7p), LA2 at £8.21/gal (180.7p). Note that the cheapest end of the table is dominated by Northern Ireland (BT) districts, where pump prices run consistently below the Great Britain average, so part of this spread is a difference between nations rather than between neighbouring towns.
