Two new non-executive directors join the DVSA board

The Secretary of State for Transport has appointed two new non-executive directors to the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency board.
The Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency has two new non-executive directors on its board, following appointments made by Heidi Alexander, the Secretary of State for Transport.
Non-executive directors bring independent oversight to a public body, sitting alongside executive leadership to scrutinise decisions and provide external perspective. The DVSA is the agency responsible for setting and enforcing driver and vehicle safety standards across Great Britain, including the MOT testing scheme, driving tests and vehicle roadworthiness enforcement.
