Porsche 911 GT3 Bergsport debuts as a Europe-only limited run

By William Fletcher MBE, Chief Executive Officer, New Reg Limited

Porsche has revealed the 911 GT3 Bergsport, a 100-unit limited edition inspired by Alpine hillclimb racing that will be sold exclusively across four European countries.

Porsche has unveiled the 911 GT3 Bergsport, a limited-edition sports car built in just 100 examples and restricted to four European markets, meaning buyers in the United States and beyond will have no official route to one.

The car draws its identity from Alpine hillclimb motorsport, a discipline with deep roots in European mountain racing culture. According to multiple reports, the Bergsport has been developed through Porsche's Exclusiv Manufaktur workshop, the division that handles bespoke and low-volume projects for the brand.

With only 100 cars earmarked for the entire run and distribution confined to four countries across Europe, availability will be exceptionally tight. Buyers outside those markets, including those in North America, will not be able to purchase the car through any official channel.

No pricing details or a precise on-sale date have been confirmed in the reports published so far, and Porsche has not announced which four European countries will receive allocation. Drivers with a serious interest in the Bergsport would need to contact a Porsche centre directly to establish whether their country is included and what the ordering process involves.
