Jeep launches Smoky Mountain Wrangler special edition with blackout

Jeep has revealed a new Wrangler Willys Smoky Mountain Edition featuring blacked-out exterior details and a mama bear gear shifter as a nod to America's Great Smoky Mountains.
Jeep has introduced a new special edition Wrangler built around a blackout appearance package and a quirky interior detail that pays tribute to the Great Smoky Mountains of the American South. According to multiple reports, the variant is based on the Wrangler Willys and carries the Smoky Mountain Edition name, making it one of several themed special editions Jeep has released for the Wrangler in recent years.
The most visible changes are on the outside, where the grille and wheels have both been finished in black to give the truck a more purposeful, stripped-back look compared to standard trim levels. The blacked-out treatment is the centrepiece of the package and is designed to set the Smoky Mountain Edition apart on the road without altering the Wrangler's well-known body shape.
Inside, the edition features a mama bear gear shifter, a detail that multiple reports highlight as a direct reference to the bear population associated with the Great Smoky Mountains. It is the kind of personalised touch Jeep regularly uses on its special editions to give buyers something they cannot get on an off-the-shelf model.
